Fly Salone (Sierra Leone) is a new Boeing 757 operator; the company is leasing a single 757 aircraft from Icelandair (TF-FIW); operations started December 12th with a flight from London/Gatwick to Lungi (Sierra Leone). The route will be operated twice weekly.

UPS has started changing on the fuselage of its aircraft. Several 757s have “Worldwide Services” titles only as the “Synchronizing the world of commerce” titles have been removed from the fuselage; N408UP, N4154UP, N418UP, N427UP, N440UP, N442UP, N443UP, N457UP and N464UP have “Worldwide Services” titles only (photo proof).

Air Contractors was renamed ASL Airlines Ireland June 5, 2015.

Tajik Air will be operating a third Boeing 757. EY-757 (c/n 30338) ferried Victorville-Keflavik-Norwich as TJK757 October 14th for repaint. The aircraft was previously operated by Nordwind Airlines as VQ-BTO.

Air Djibouti might receive a former Icelandair 757 (TF-FIY; c/n 29312); the aircraft ferried Keflavik-St. Athan October 7th as ICE6050; Cardiff Aviation (owned by Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden) has a big MRO facility at St. Athans; Mr Dickinson’s company signed a deal in May with the Government of Djibouti

Icelandair will be replacing TF-FIY (c/n 29312) and TF-FIZ (c/n 30052), which are both going back to their lessors, with 2 ex-I-Fly aircraft. EI-DUA (c/n 26247) and EI-DUD (c/n 26249) were both ferried from Moscow/Vnukovo to Keflavik September 30th.

Colt Cargo of Brasil is a new 757 operator; N235WD (c/n 24235) was seen at Goodyear in full c/s without a registration September 4th; the aircraft has been stored in Goodyear for almost 3 years. Colt Cargo Website

N757ET (c/n 247627) was scrapped Tuesday September 1st, 2015 at Moses Lake.  

Beginning May 19th, 2016, Icelandair will start seasonal service with four flights a week to/from Montreal, Canada’s second largest city, through November 8, 2016 with departures on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Raya Airways is a new Boeing 757 freighter operator; the Malaysian company is leasing ex-China Cargo Airlines B-2809 (c/n 24472) and has been registered 2-TBXE; this is the first Boeing 757 wearing a Guernsey registration!
